Venue

The Mideastern Regional Championshps will be held near Manchester, Michigan. This is southwest of Ann Arbor. The area is served by a major airport in Detroit and Interstates 94 (east/west) and US 23 (north/south).

Location

• South Michigan SchH and Police Club grounds at 11700 Burmeister, Manchester, MI 48158

• Water and a small pool will be available for our canine team members

Trial Grounds

Trial grounds will be locked from Sunday evening Sept 5 until 6:30 AM Wednesday Sept 8.

Training equipment is allowed, but will be closely monitored as per USA rules. NO agitation of dogs in parking areas.

Practice

The field will be available for practice on Wednesday and Thursday. As with past MER regional events we will have a practice signup available on this website.

Protection

The blinds will be permanent wooden blinds made of unfinished wood.

Tracking

Tracking will be hay fields. We expect the cover to be ankle to mid-calf height, depending on rainfall and the farmer's harvesting schedule. Tracking Flights will meet at host hotel parking lot and caravan from there to the tracking grounds. Tracking articles will be leather, wood and carpet. They will be the standard size.

Food

Lunch will be available on the grounds.

Parking

There will be plenty of parking but shade will be limited.
